Thanks so much! You two are the best!

College Text Book

Brad Peters facilitated the media relations for the closing of a Strathmore paper mill. The press release and employee communiqué authored by Peters and the article in The Recorder in Greenfield, MA were reprinted in the college textbook, “Public Relations Writing” (Don & Jill Treadwell) as an example of good public relations.

The authors noted, “Strathmore was satisfied with the coverage, noting that the Key Messages they were trying to communicate were in the final article.”

Public Relations Study

While Brad Peters was vice president for Public Relations for Maine Central Railroad, a public relations professor surveyed reporters and editors throughout Maine to evaluate public relations effectiveness of large businesses.

The professor noted, “Maine Central came out at the top of the list. Brad Peters was mentioned by several respondents with one reporter saying, ‘Brad Peters is the most accessible and dependable PR person I deal with.’"

Media Study

Brad Peters was manager of public relations for the Androscoggin Paper Mill in Maine in 1992 when International Paper contracted with a research company to evaluate media coverage for all of its international operations in the world.

The report said, “Under the difficulties of the aftermath of a violent strike, decertification of 1200 union employees and environmental issues, the Androscoggin Mill had neutral to positive media coverage. Brad Peters was the third most quoted person in all of IP and in the dozens of stories, the mill was treated fairly and even positively by the local media.” Brad Peters was named Best in “Media Communications”  for IP in 1992.
